THE
PALMS SOUTH BEACH TO DEBUT AS THE PALMS HOTEL & SPA
FEATURING NEW AVEDA CONCEPT SPA AND ESSENSIA RESTAURANT & LOUNGE
The Palms South Beach is entering a new era with two fresh, eagerly
anticipated venues and a new name - The Palms Hotel & Spa. The
tropical, boutique style property, which for years has been recognized
for its charm and off-the-beaten-path luxury feel, is taking its guest
experience to an unprecedented level in early 2009 with the addition of
a new Aveda concept spa, The Palms Spa, and a new "natural
gourmet dining" concept - Essensia restaurant and lounge.
The opening of Essensia and The Palms Spa this Spring will mark the
completion of a series of public areas renovations. Other upgrades
include new and and renovated meeting spaces, upgraded lobby
facilities, an exterior face-lift and pool area renovations, complete
with private beach areas and Spa Tiki Cabanas.
Located oceanfront in the heart of Miami Beach, the 243-room
independently owned and operated Palms Hotel & Spa sets itself
apart from the competition with its down-to-earth, naturally
sophisticated elegance, leaving guests to feel a genuine sense of well
being. Both the spa and new dining experience are "inspired by
nature" - a concept ever present throughout the hotel's
facilities, service style and corporate mission. |

The Palms Spa will be Aveda's
first luxury beach resort spa in the U.S. The 5,000-square foot
facility will feature holistic treatments and rituals designed to
deliver a highly personalized experience. Facilities include a unisex
steam room, a couple's suite with an experience snail shower, a
hydrotherapy room, four multi-purpose treatment rooms, a salon area
for nail and hair services, and outdoor Tiki Cabanas for al
fresco treatments.
